The Ipoh, Perak originated Mr. Ling Che Kit (CK) who born in year 1977 was the founder and recent owner of the local well known “Kempar Barbeque Restaurant” roasted mix specialized shop introducing his Hong Kong Cantonese authentic roast duck, chicken, pork and other signatures menu to the locals and visitors under a roof in the Kuching center city having great response from market enabled to be recognised as one of the best restaurant in town year 2015.

Ling Che Kit or known CK who at his age of 38 years old currently, initially stepped into the f&b industry in his hometown Ipoh since his 15th recruited himself into a chinese restaurant at Taman Ipoh Pertama began as kitchen trainee for few years before further his studies.  Then at his 20 of age re-stepped into the chefing career in Kuala Lumpur spent about 8 years exposed in the industry, and quit at his age of 28 years old.

In order to experience more, CK from year 2005 touched the Sales & Marketing field later been transferred to East, reached Kuching, Sarawak at his 31st.  Later on joined more into the f&b management career in year 2010 stayed Kuching few years before established his very first and owned restaurant in Sarawak named “Kempar Barbeque Restaurant” along Pending Road, Kuching in 2014.  Then after a year running another roasted stall outlet at Jalan Tun Jugah in 2015 and coming up another roasted stall at off Jalan Tar, Kuching in the same year.

In “Kempar Barbeque” by CK Ling, the first top recommended in menus will be their Roasted Duck which is the signature in this restaurant.  Local feeded duck with weight of about 2.2-2.4kg selected, marinated overnight with more than 10 recipes added into herbals mixture, roast for 45 minutes, followed by charcoal-smoked another 10 minutes brings exotic authentic taste and juicy duck meat’s texture you must try when reached Kuching, Sarawak.  Taken tipping onto their homemade sweet sauce you will neither found elsewhere in town.

Secondly will be their Cantonese Hong Kong recipe Roasted Pork or locally known “Char Siew”, which among the restaurant’s top seller most wanted by regulars.  Pork belly selected, roast an hour with their in-house sauce made from more than 20 ingredients mixture, and 3-times swiped with rock sugar paste in process brings really authentic char siew taste you cannot aside.  Especially the pork texture in bites and exotic barbeque sweet taste into mouth.

Another among recommended will be the Roasted Pork Belly or known “Siew Yuk”, which cannot left out in a roasted house.  Fresh local pork belly marinated overnight with 8 spices, roast for 45-50 minutes in traditional recipe brings juicy meat in bites and crispy skin cracker you will never regret after taken.

Moreover, their Roasted Chicken also those favourites by the visitors in “Kempar Barbeque” eating house.  Chicken prepared in 35 minutes roast after recipe marinated, followed with seconds oil-passed, served in cutted pieces and poured onto their homemade soy sauce mixture, and sided with their in-house marinated cucumber will be a complete set of “Kempar Barbeque” roasted chicken rice you will like it.
