The local originated Madam Huong Lee Lee who born in Miri year 1973 was the founder, together with husband Mr. Chung Kung Jin and her best friend couple Mr. Chan Ying Chung (born 1972) & wife Madam Goh Siew Mui are the immediate owners of the recommended “Bak Kut Tah Cafe” eating house in Miri, Sarawak introducing their home recipes menu to the market in manner.

Huong Lee Lee, who also the restaurant’s Main Chef, all the while having great interest in eateries been stepped into the f&b industry since year 2005 under-employed in a restaurant where she touched the chinese herbal soup (bak kut teh) in Miri.  With the mission to have her own restaurant, with holding 2 years experiences in cooking bak kut teh added with the supports from husband and best friend Siew Mui enabled Lee Lee to bodied-up with Mr. Chan Ying Chung, then successfully established their very 1st eating house named “Bak Kut Tah Cafe” at Pelita Commercial Centre, Miri in year 2007.

While Mr. Chan Ying Chung (Siew Mui’s husband) who is in Construction Industry, also foreseen the market opportunity in the f&b industry, decided to stepped into the career with wife joined Lee Lee in the restaurant with vision to provide most of their home cooked and healthy eateries to the locals, having great response from the market recently and being recognised as one of the best in town year 2016.

In Bak Kut Tah Cafe, the founder’s top recommended in menus will be their famous Signature Dry Bak Kut Teh, which is the restaurant’s top seller currently.  Bak Kut Teh soup base boiled 1&half hours with more than 10 chinese herbals mixture, poured into mixed fried in claypot added another 6 recipes insided with dried cuttlefish, lady finger, chilli, spare ribs, belly pork, lean meat and meat ball brings authentic tasty dry bak kut teh you must try when reached Miri, Sarawak.
