BRINGING THE CHINESE & WESTERN CUISINES COMBINATION BY THE COUPLE IN “YU GA YONG” RESTAURANT

“Freshness” the most important leading in a restaurant, especially for those occupying the seafood restaurant recently all presenting their menus on respective recipes.  Here in Selangor, we found and being recognised one of the best recommended chinese seafood restaurant “Yu Ga Yong”, means ‘freshness’ running by the Wong’s couple into market since year 2013.

Both the local originated couple, Mr. Wong Tian Wai who born in Kuala Lumpur year 1967, together with his lovely wife Ms. Annes Choo Sheau Yeh (born 1970) were the initial founders and immediate owners of the recognised “Yu Ga Yong Sea Food Restaurant” in Petaling Jaya introducing their home recipes on combination of chinese & western cuisines to the locals and visitors under a roof.

Wong Tian Wai or famously known as Weykoh, who at his age of 49 years old currently, been more than 10 years formerly in Grocery Industry, all the while having great interest in eatery, foreseen the market opportunity in f&b industry added with the great encouragement from friends & family allowed Weykoh in year 2013 fully stepped into the career at his 46th of age.

While Annes Choo who formerly was a management positioned in the Stationery Industry for more than 10 years, also having interest in eatery and in order to support husband Weykoh made Annes stepped into the f&b industry with husband then successfully established their very first and owned restaurant named “Yu Ga Yong” at Taman Sea, bringing the best food freshness to the visitors began in 2013.

In Yu Ga Yong, the owner Weykoh’s first top recommended in menus will be their signature Italy Style Pan Fried Prawn which prepared with the combination of chinese & western cuisine.  Selected size fresh water prawn grilled few minutes, followed by roast seconds with homemade italian sauce mixtures, then served after flamed, and sided with some veges salad brings exotic sweet & fresh salty taste you must taste when reached Petaling Jaya.

Secondly will be their Steamed Fish with Spicy, which among the restaurant’s best selection most wanted by their regulars who like spicy.  Local feeded Tilapia, Sea Grouper or Red Snapper fish commonly selected, 15 minutes steamed then served poured onto their white sour & spicy soup paste which made from more than 10 ingredients mixture, mixed with some onions and chillies shredded brings excellent fresh and appertising spicy taste like Thai Style Steamed you never regret after taken.

Another will be their top in chinese cuisine selection, the Signature Pork Rib.  Selected ribs part marinated overnight with their secret 7 recipes mixture, deep fried, followed by steam-cooked, then again seconds stir-fried with their homemade in-house sweet & sour sauce paste brings authentic pork ribs eatery you never found better elsewhere in town.  Especially the meat’s texture itself in bites and the fantastic exotic taste from the homemade sauce swallowed into mouth.

While in noodles corner, the founder cum owner Weykoh taken the opportunity to introduce his favourite traditional Hong Kong Fried Mix Vermicelli which among the restaurant’s top seller.  Mixtures of rice noodles (mee hun) and vermicelli dry fried with fresh prawn, dried shrimp and cabbage shredded looks simple but taste special plate of mix noodles you cannot missed when stepped into this “Yu Ga Yong Sea Food Restaurant” in state of Selangor.
