“Seafood”, one of the Malaysia’s local famous delicacy eatery selection favourites by the public and also most wanted by those visitors when reached our nation.  Found easily everywhere, the seafood restaurants throughout the country all presenting their menus on respective recipes.  But here in the state of Selangor, we found and being successfully recognised one of the best river & seafood eating house “Delicious Seafood” running into market by the 2 best friends since year 2008.

The Perak originated Mr. Yong Kuan Loon who born in year 1971, together with best friend of him Ms. Mandy Wong Siow Mein (born 1976), who originated from Pahang, both were the initial founders and immediate owners of the recommended “Delicious Seafood Restaurant” introducing their home recipe chinese river & seafood cuisines to the market into the 8th years in Puchong, Selangor.

Yong Kuan Loon or known Ah Loon, who also the restaurant’s main chef, with his age of 45 years old today initially stepped into the f&b industry since year 1988 at his 17th been recruited into a chinese cuisine restaurant at Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur began as kitchen trainee for a year before went overseas reached Holland to further his exposure.  While in year 1992, Ah Loon returned to Malaysia been offered into the “Tai Tong Group” Restaurant positioned as Chef in Kuala Lumpur, then again exposed to Holland and being running his very owned eating house “Four Season Restaurant” there in year 2006.

While Mandy Wong Siow Mein who all the while in f&b industry, working on front floor began as waitress since her age of 15 years old in KL Plaza, Kuala Lumpur been reached Holland in year 1996 continued her career in the industry at front floor allowed Mandy to experience a restaurant’s daily operation.  Added with the mission to have her own restaurant, foreseen the market opportunity in home country and the recipes hold by Ah Loon enabled them to bodied-up & successfully established their “Delicious Seafood Restaurant” in year 2008 at Puchong, being recognised in year 2016.

Among the signature selections, Chef Ah Loon’s first top recommended in menus will be their Steamed Soon Hock Fish.  Fresh wildlife river Soon Hock fish selected, steamed about 5 minutes, then served poured onto their homemade recipe soy sauce made from 5 ingredients mixture, topped with ginger and spring onion shredded brings authentic fish freshness sweet taste you must try when reached Puchong, Selangor.  Especially the fish meat’s texture itself in bites and the freshness into mouth you will like it.

Secondly will be their Steamed Prawn with Chicken Egg White, which among the regular’s most wanted.  River fresh prawn commonly prepared in 70% cooked, then poured onto egg white and slight liquor steamed another few minutes before served brings the best freshness & smooth prawn stock into mouth you neither found better in town.

Another will be their Belacan Paku Vege, which is one of their local’s delicacy dish you cannot aside.  Homemade belacan paste from 8 ingredients mixture, stir-cooked with local’s wildlife Paku veges brings appertising salty & spicy taste you will never regret after tasted.  Also being their visitor’s must order vegetables selection in the restaurant.

 

Nonetheless, the owners also taken the opportunity to introduce their Golden Beancurd which among the restaurant’s top seller.  Egg-made beancurd prepared in cutted cubes, followed by deep fried, then stired with in-house made pumpkin gravy paste you cannot missed when stepped into this “Delicious Seafood Restaurant” in Puchong, Selangor.
