“HO HO” SEAFOOD STEAMBOAT
Mr. Lee Sitt Keong who was the initial founder of the “Ho Ho Steamboat Restaurant” which established his 1st steamboat career as a food stall at Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur in the year of 1990. Later in the year 1999, he founded the “Ho Ho Steamboat Restaurant” at Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur which is recently the main quaters for the steamboat restaurant group.
In the millenium year 2000, his nephew Mr. Lee Eng Sen and Mr. Lee Siwee Bu who are recently the owner of the restaurant have continued take over and explored the steamboat career after the founder Mr. Lee retirement. Mr Lee Eng Fen who formerly a 7 years experienced pastry and bakery product quality controller in the “Today Bakery” quit his career and take over the operation of their steamboat restaurant. While Mr. Lee Siwee Bu who entered food & baverage industry in the year 1984 with his age of 19 years old. This formerly a prawn mee hawker stall owner established his ‘Kam Kee’ for about 2 years time at Petaling Jaya Old Town. Afterwards he started his roasted category with his master ‘Ah Sui’ until the year 2003, and too joined the recently well known “Ho Ho Steamboat Restaurant” also in the year of 2000 together with Lee Eng Sen.
Original traditional steamboat with only chicken clear soup base is the secret of the restaurant. More than 30 variety food choices to satisfy the market also their speciaties. Among those foods, their fresh seafood choices are the most recommended in the steamboat restaurant especially the giant meat sea crab with Rm100 per kilogram. Others, the fresh pork slice and abolone slice are those seldom found in other local steamboat restaurant. In fish corner, their maintained fresh 100% fish ball with no preservative and fish noodle are the most wanted by their visitors. Nonetheless, the deep fried dumpling made in pork mixed prawn and the QQ bean curd also the restaurant recommended side dishes.
