The local originated Singaporean Mr. Oke Ah Bang who born in year 1959, together with his wife Ms. Sia Fong Hsia (Xiao Wei) who is Johorean, both were the initial founders and the recent immediate owners of the recommended “Zheng Swee Kee” Hainanese Chicken Rice House serving their in-house authentic hainan boiled chicken and other signature menus to the market under a roof at Bugis, Singapore into the 8th subsequent years.

Oke Ah Bang who at his 57 years old currently, who all the while in Construction Industry nearly to 40 years having great interest in eatery, added foreseen the market opportunity in the f&b industry made him in year 2008 firstly touched the field running a fish head pot food stall at Geylang, Singapore stayed for a year.

In this Zheng Swee Kee eating house, the founder’s first top recommended among the best signatures surely will be their most famous “Hainan Chicken Rice”.  Imported Kampung Chicken (village chicken) from Malaysia which with at least 100 days feeded being selected, boil-cooked half an hour in their in-house chicken bones soup base then watering with ice water to hold the chicken original collegen before being served in cutted pieces without poured onto any soya sauce will be the authentic traditional way of presenting the Hainanese Chicken Rice, which sided with a plate/bowl of hot oil rice and taken tipping onto their homemade chilli and ginger paste you must try when reached Singapore.  Especially the chicken meat’s smothness and bites texture itself into mouth.

Nonetheless in vegetable corner, both owners taken the opportunity to introduce their Trio Egg Ceylon Spinach which among the local’s most wanted and believes is good for health.  Fresh spinach stir-fried with soup base, then served mixed into with their trio mixtures of chicken egg, century egg and salted egg soup sauce, finally topped with deep fried fine ikan bilis brings exotic eateries you cannot missed when stepped into this “Zheng Swee Kee” hainan chicken rice restaurant at Seah Street (Bugis), Singapore.
