The recent immediate owner Ms. Zhang Shu Ting who was originated from China, born in year 1994, also a permanent Singapore’s resident today together with her father Zhi Long were the initial founders of this recommended “Xin Long Fish Soup” food stall running into the 4th year at Holland Drive introducing their fresh & deep fried fish soup and also the combined recipes from Chinese, Japanese & Korean cuisines brought into the market.

Shu Ting’s father (Zhi Long) who at his age of 46 years old recently, reached Singapore in year 2002 initially under-employed in Manufacturing Industry for more than 5 years.  With the interest in eatery made him stepped into the f&b industry in year 2008 began as a trainee been experienced in Chinese, Japanese and Korean cuisines exposed nearly 5 years in the field.

While Shu Ting (23 years old) who followed parents reached the lion city at her 7th of age, been touched the f&b industry as part-time waitress during her education period in Singapore allowed her to experience the industry and with foreseen the market opportunity in the f&b industry, added with her interest in eatery & chefing and also the support from grandfather Mr. Huang Cheng Quan (born 1940) enabled Shu Ting accompany with father Zhi Long successfully established their very own and 1st fish soup stall in year 2013 at Block 43, Holland Drive named “Xin Long” serving all their home recipes to the market under a roof.

In “Xin Long”, the owners’ first top recommended among the best will be their Mixed Fish Mee Hoon.  Fresh local Batang Fish slices comes together with Deep Fried Dolly Fish slices topped onto boil-cooked fine rice noodles (mee hoon), served in their in-house more than 3 hours boiled soup base with fish bones, pork bones, yellow beans & ikan bilis then sided with Sichuan veges and topped with homemade deep fried garlic shredded brings exotic fish freshness eatery you must try.  Can be also served with carnation milk poured into on customer’s choices to brings another authentic eatery taste you should have a try.

Secondly will be their Sliced Batang Fish Soup, which among the stall’s daily top seller favourites by their regulars.  Fresh local Batang fish slices prepared, served boil-cooked in their home soup base mixed into tomatoes, egg-beancurd & veges, taken sided with a bowl of white rice will be the perfect matching you cannot aside.  Especially the fresh Batang Fish slice’s texture into mouth and the soup’s freshness itself when swallowed you will never regret after tasted at this “Xin Long”.

Moreover, Shu Ting also introduced their very signature selection, the BBQ Saba Fish Meal which prepared with the combination of Japanese & Korean cuisines brought into the market made available at “Xin Long” by her father Zhi Long.  Overnight marinated Saba fish in home recipes, prepared in about 15 minutes pan-grilled which served in half-sided, sided with lime and their homemade Korean veges (Kimchi) taken sided with a bowl of rice that you really cannot missed when stepped towards this “Xin Long Fish Soup” at Holland Drive, Singapore.
