“Pan Mee” or also known by the chinese “Mee Hun Kueh” which being taken since years ago being widely practiced today within the nation in Singapore, becomes one of the local’s favourites eatery easily found everywhere served on respective recipes.  Here in Fajar, we successfully found and recognised the best traditional handmade Pan Mee introduced by “Mr. Pig” having great response from the market.

The local originated Mr. Koh Gek Lee who born in Singapore year 1972, together with his lovely wife Ms. Joey Lim Sor Pin (born 1973) both are the current immediate owners of this recommended “Mr. Pig Pan Mee” running their outlets in Fajar, Redhill and Bukit Timah serving their homemade pan mee, fish slice soup & minced pork noodle to the market in manner.

Mr. Koh Gek Lee who at his age of only 45 years old recently, been touched the f&b industry in year 2005 running his kopitiam in the lion city.  Due to his interest in f&b career and foreseen the market opportunity in the industry, allowed Gek Lee in year 2009 fully stepped into the field holding his “F&B Empires” coffee shop at Bishan, Singapore running his beverage corner, also where he joined Mr. Andy operating their “Mr. Pig” noodle stall in the coffee house and began to introduce their homemade “Pan Mee” in the following year 2010, also exposed into Redhill running another outlet.

While his wife Joey Lim who grown up in a f&b family been touched the industry since kids, and started to help her parents in their canteen stall during her education period at her teenage.  With the experiences and interest in the career, Joey joined and began fully assists her husband Gek Lee in year 2014 took over the full ownership on “Mr. Pig”, then in year 2017 established their very 1st owned noodle house named “Sweetelicious” at Bukit Timah, Singapore.

At “Mr. Pig Pan Mee”, the owners’ first top recommended among the menus surely will be their Homemade Traditional Pan Mee.  In-house flour-made noodles prepared daily, hand-teared and boil-cooked in their home soup base which boiled more than an hour with mixtures of pork bones, ikan bilis, yellow beans, dried shrimp and sengkuang, then served topped with mushroom, pork slice, fried ikan bilis, chicken egg & veges brings a complete bowl of their Traditional Pan Mee you must try when reached Fajar, Singapore.  Especially the soup base taste and their handmade teared noodle’s textures itself in bites.

Other than Pan Mee, their Fish Slice Soup also among the regular’s favourites which served in 3 choices either mix with deep fried Dolly fillet, fresh Toman slice or Seafood Mixed on customer’s request.  In-house soup base boiled at least 2 hours with pork bones, ikan bilis, sweet corn & yellow beans served insided with either deep fried fish fillet or fresh fish slice will brings exotic fish freshness taste you cannot aside.  For those who like seafood mixed with mushroom, fried & fresh fish slices, prawn and spinage also brings another seafood freshness taste you will never regret after tasted in “Mr. Pig”.

Nonethelss, the owners Gek Lee and Joey also taken the opportunity to introduce their Mushroom Minced Pork Noodle which among Singaporean’s delicacy eatery since decade.  Mushroom prepared in slices and braised for about 2 hours on their home recipes, served topped onto boil-cooked egg made noodles, and mixed with pork minced, pork slice, liver, meat ball & veges then also served topped with fried ikan bilis & spring onion shredded taken sided with a bowl of their soup base you really cannot missed when step towards this “Mr. Pig” noodle houses in Fajar, Redhill and Bukit Timah, Singapore.
