The founder Pang Hong Kiong who at his age of 76 currently, reached Malaysia at his 5th of age initially stepped into the f&b industry in year 1965. Then running his very own roadside noodle stall (with wife) began in year 1966 along the fresh market at Kulai introduced his home recipe handmade fishball noodles mixed with hakka yong tau foo stayed 48 years exposed in the field untill year 2014.
While Hong Kiong’s son Pang Soong Kuan, who at his age of 40 years old recently, touched the family’s career since his teenage at 14th helping parents in the noodle stall. Later-on in year 2012 at his 34 years old been passed onto family’s generation home recipe fully taken the responsibility to continue their family’s career, then successfully established the very first specialized fishball noodle house named “Gerai Ah Pang” after 2 years in 2014 at Kulai, Johor. Being assisted by wife Yuan Ping who also began to step into the industry respectively. Follwed by another outlet at Iskandar Putri, Johor in year 2017.
In this noodle house, the owner’s first top recommended in menus surely will be their 50 years traditional home recipe “Ah Pang Fishball Noodles” served in dry kon lou. Homemade fish ball from mixtures of Xi Dao & Yellow Tail fishes, boil-cooked in their soup base prepared in 2 hours boiled with fresh fish bones, also with their hakka yong tau foo, then served sided with bowl of noodles mixed with their in-house 8 ingredients kon lou sauce, topped with home fried minced pork brings a complete set of their Ah Pang Fishball Noodles you must try, especially taken tipping onto their homemade chilli sauce.
