Phang Yip Hin, who also the restaurant’s main Chef, at his age of only 36 currently was grown-up in a f&b family began touched the industry since kids helping in family’s chinese cuisine restaurant “Sek Yuan” at Pudu, Kuala Lumpur allowed him to hold chefing skills and all the while strengthen his f&b experience on his interest in the career field.
With mission to expose further in f&b industry, foreseen the market opportunity in the career and chefing experiences he have made Yip Hin decided to start his very first owned food stall in “Asia Cafe” @ Subang Jaya SS15 together with his wife Sheenee Chai in year 2006 specialised in pork chop & ribs all presented on their home recipe spent 6 years there. Then in year 2012 successfully established their very owned specialized eating house at Taman Paramount officially named “Ribs King Restaurant”, followed by another shoplot in year 2016 being recognised as the best in town.
In “Ribs King”, surely their cantonese cuisine’s “Supreme Pork Chop Rice” (Pai Ku Wang) to be the restaurant’s signature menu you must try when reached Petaling Jaya. Selected pork chop marinated, followed by deep fried then stir-fried with their in-house recipe sweet & sour sauce, finally served sided with rice and topped onto a sunny egg brings complete set of their cantonese style pork chop rice favourites by most of the locals.
Secondly will be their restaurant’s daily top seller recently, the “Spare Ribs in Spicy Milk Sauce” which most wanted by regulars. Fresh pork ribs prepared in certain chopped size, marinated overnight with about 10 ingredients mixture recipe, deep fried then stir-fried with homemade gravy sauce from mixture of fresh milk, butter & spices brings exotic milk & slight spicy taste you cannot aside.
