Ng Pek John (John) who at his age of only 38 years old recently, being touched the f&b industry since kids helping his mother in their home-base food stall at Salak South. Then initially stepped into the career at his 17th been recruited as kitchen trainee joined the Japanese Cuisine in year 1997. With his great interest in eatery & chefing, John’s father started a chinese cuisine food stall with a hired chef where John touched fully into the field and spent years to being positioned as a Chef at his 23rd of age here.

In order to further his exposure in the career, wishing to have his very owned chinese cuisine restaurant and foreseen the market opportunity on the old klang road’s old-age traditional taste allowed John in year 2017 bodied-up with few of his friends who also having interest in the f&b industry successfully established their bak kut teh & chinese cuisine restaurant named “Masterchef Old Klang Road Restaurant” along Jalan Radin Anum, Sri Petaling introducing their Chef’s recipe bak kut teh, steamed fish head and other home recipe selections to the public.

In this Masterchef restaurant, the owner’s first top recommended in menus surely will be their “Old Klang Road’s Bak Kut Teh” which most wanted by the locals.  Soup base boiled at least 6 hours with 8 herbals mixture with their chef’s secret ingredients, cooked mixed into pork ribs, pork belly, lean meats, stomach, intestines, then served boiled in claypot with beancurd sheets & dried beancurd (tau pok) brings an authentic pot of old klang road bak kut teh soup you must try.
